Patti is the co-Artistic Director of Art in Paradise with Artist Yao Mikami which facilitating Visionary Art Retreats at Paradise One Eco-Retreat, Coorabell, Byron Bay Hinterland, NSW Australia where they organise retreats with teachers from The Academy of Visionary Art in Vienna.

Patti’s background is fabric printing using her hand carved lino blocks printed onto natureal fabrics, made into soft furnishings (quilt covers, cushions, wall hangings) fashion & Tshirts) and sold at local & national markets & festivals for 25 years, printing & as owner & curator at Gallery Cosmosis for 8 years. She has worked in the Arts all her life and was a student at Julian Ashton’s School of Arts, East Sydney Technical College, Canberra Technical College, and SCU Visual Arts.
“In the past 5 years, I have found wonderful painting teachers. My first teacher was Daniel Mirante, in the UK. My second was Amanda Sage who was taught the Summer Seminar for The Academy of Visionary Art in Italy. These two Artists have been my main influences, & I have attended several painting retreats in Australia & OS with them. It is from them that I initially learned mischtechnik painting (oils & egg tempera). I have had other influencial teachers also: A. Andrew Gonzales, Laurence Caruana, Leo Plaw & Kathrina Sofie, Damon Soule. Kuba Ambrose & Vera Atlantia, Adam Scott Miller, David Heskin & Aloria Weaver, Chris Dyer, Luis Tamani, Michael Fuchs, & Autumn Skye All of these painters are amongst the cutting edge masters in the world today, & I look forward to painting with them again.
I started off as a designer,n& a printer. I have had my own business creating fabric printed from my original hand-carved blocks for over 25 years, working in my print studio first in the rainforest of Terania Creek, & then in Byron Bay, & selling both nationally & all over the world.
Since I have been studying painting my interest has shifted away from printing. My studio is at Gallery Cosmosis, in the Industrial Estate of Byron Bay, featuring original paintings, giclee prints on canvas, & prints on paper, the work of Australian & International Visionary Artists.
